Simplified Chinese, also known as S-Chinese or Simplified Mandarin, is the official language of Mainland China and is distinct from Traditional Chinese, which is used in Taiwan, Hong Kong, and other regions. The Simplified Chinese Pokemon cards will be printed and distributed from Mainland China, making them accessible to a vast new audience of collectors and players.
